March has been a lovely month that has flown by. I've done a lot this month, including a bookish road trip, a lot of days out, wedding planning and just a lot of fun days. Here is what happened in March!
Month: March 2023
What I Read in March!
March has been an excellent reading month for me. I've read 11 books throughout March and I've loved many of them. So, I am back with another post about what I've read this month. In this post, you will find a bunch of mini-reviews of the books I read in March. Here they are!
Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid – Quote
I fear that Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid has become my whole personality recently. I read the book back in 2021 for the first time and loved it. Then, I watched the TV adaptation and immediately re-read the entire book. I love the world of this band and it truly has me hooked. The book itself has so many amazing quotes throughout it. So, I wanted to do what I normally do with a book that I enjoy, which is pick a quote from it and get designing.
What the World Doesn’t See – Mel Darbon
Mel Darbon is a YA author whose books everyone needs to read. Both of her books are heart-breaking, heart-warming, real and truly extraordinary. After reading her first published novel Rosie Loves Jack back in 2018, I knew I had to pick up What the World Doesn’t See. It completely exceeded all of my expectations and I cannot recommend it enough.
Currently I’m…
I am always intrigued by what other people are reading, watching and listening to. I find it is an excellent way to get recommendations and get to know people too. So, I started doing the 'Currently I'm...' posts to share my current reads, watches and what I'm listening to with other people who are just as curious as I am. Here is what I am currently reading, watching and listening to.
This Time It’s Real by Ann Liang – Quote
I finished reading This Time It's Real by Ann Liang yesterday and I adored it. It was such a lovely YA romance story which put a huge smile on my face. It has got a lot of lovely quotes throughout it, so, I wanted to do what I normally do with a book that I enjoy, which is pick a quote from it and get designing.
What’s On My Netgalley TBR?
I have no self-control when it comes to request books on Netgalley. I can't help myself from request all the amazing books available on there. So, I started writing some what's on my Netgalley TBR posts to see what is on my TBR and hold me accountable when I have not read them on time. Here are the books on my Netgalley shelf / TBR at the moment!
The Headmaster’s List – Melissa de la Cruz
One of them was driving. One of them was high. One of them screamed. And one of them died. When fifteen-year-old Chris Moore is tragically killed in a car crash, Argyle Prep is full of questions. Who was at the wheel? And more importantly, who was at fault?
New Releases I’m Excited For – April
I'm someone who is always on the lookout for new books to add to my TBR. There are a lot of new books coming out in April and I wanted to share the ones I'm particularly excited about in this post. So, here are the new book releases I'm excited for in April!
Book Adaptation Tag
I've been watching a lot of book adaptations recently and loving so many of them. So, it got me thinking about if there was a book tag based on book adaptations out there and there is! I found this one on Book Loving Nut and I'm excited to do this one. Here is the book adaptations tag
