What I Read in April!
April has been the best reading month of the year for me. I've read 12 books throughout April and loved so many of them. So, I am back with another what I've read this month post. In this post, you will find a bunch of mini-reviews of the books I read in April. Here they are!
The Love Wager – Lynn Painter
After reading all of Lynn Painter’s YA romance novels, I was excited to give one of her adult romance novels a read. The Love Wager seemed like the perfect place to give them a try. Although it is a companion novel to Mr. Wrong Number, you can definitely read this one on its own, which is what I did. I loved this book and its characters for so many reasons!
Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez – Quote
After picking up a copy Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez on a recent bookish road trip and reading it almost immediately, I cannot stop thinking about it. It is adorable, made me incredibly happy and has so many lovely quotes. So, I wanted to do what I normally do with a book that I enjoy, which is pick a quote from it and get designing.

I have managed to control myself this month when it comes to requesting books on Netgalley. I want to finally make my way through all the books I have on there and get my ratio back up. Happy Place – Emily Henry
If anyone asks for a romance book recommendation, one of the first authors I mention is Emily Henry and it is for a good reason. I’ve loved every single one of her books that I have read and her latest, Happy Place, is my new favourite book by her. It is spectacular, heart-warming and one of my favourite books I’ve read this year. I cannot recommend it enough.

I love to pre-order books because you can get excited when ordering them and when they arrive. Waterstones are having a double points weekend from the 7th - 10th of April, so it felt only fitting for me to do some pre-ordering.
