Hello! Hope you are all well and keeping safe! As we all can probably guess, not a lot has happened this month. I’ve read a lot, been on walks, sat in the sun, baked a lot and even done some creative things! I’ve made the most of May in whatever way I could. Here is what happened in May!

May has been yet another good blogging month for me. I have managed to stick to my blog planning again. I did end up writing posts on the day they went live but this was because I had time to do this! It also allowed me to change ideas as and when I wanted! I thought I’d share the 5 I liked the most! Here are my top 5 posts for May!
- Wonderland – Juno Dawson
- Shelf Help Readathon TBR
- YA Verse Books I Want to Read
- June Releases I’m Excited About
- My Favourite Alice Oseman Characters

This month started at home and ended at home. I have been to a couple of places this month though. One was a car journey to a nearby hill and the other was to the supermarket for the food shop. Who knew the small things like this would cause so much anxiety (supermarket) but also be fun (hill). Other than that I’ve been at my house and on walks, I’m keeping safe and keeping others safe so I’m happy.
I’ve spent a lot of this month reading, sitting in the sun, appreciating nature and playing Animal Crossing. I’ve made the month of it I think and I’m happy at that!
I took a lot of time this month to apprciate friends in the new ‘normal’ ways. I have spent a lot of time on Skype and virtually watching movies with my friends and it has been so lovely. It has felt like I’ve actually been with this despite them being far away.
I also started my rewatch of my favourite TV series ever this month. The Sopranos is my favourite TV series ever and I was desperate to watch it again, so me and my boyfriend are doing just that. We are watching it and reading the handy little companion novel that was recently released called ‘The Sopranos Sessions.’ I’m loving doing all these little things at the minute and when life gets back to ‘normal’, I’ll be doing them a lot more.
We learnt this month, as expected that our holiday to Lanzarote in June was cancelled and although we are sad, we are relieved. We didn’t feel safe to go but couldn’t cancel until the airline did otherwise we would lose our money. We are planning a make-shift at-home holiday for next month and know that we will be back in Lanzarote next year. I’m glad we are keeping not only ourselves but others safe too.
Look after yourselves and stay safe and let us see what June holds for us all.

That’s it May is finally over. I cannot wait to see what June holds! What has May been like for you and what have you read? Let me know in the comments below!
