October has been a long, busy and fun month! It was my 24th birthday, I went on holiday, I went to the theatre, saw friends and a lot more. Here is what happened in October!

I only read 6 books again this month. I am slowly but surely getting out of my reading slump that I’ve been in for so long. I enjoyed the books that I read this month too. I wrote a post a couple of days ago that goes into detail, with mini reviews, about what I read in October. So, be sure to check that out! Here is the shortened version of what I read in October.
- Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid – ★★★★★
- Green Rising by Lauren James – ★★★★
- The Trial by Laura Bates – ★★★★
- Empress and Aniya by Candice Carty-Williams – ★★★★
- If the Shoe Fits by Julie Murphy – ★★★★
- Misfits: A Personal Manifesto by Michaela Coel – ★★★★

This month has been another of loving blogging, sticking to my blog planning schedule and getting new ideas. So, I wanted to share the 5 posts that I enjoyed writing the most throughout October. Here are my top 5 posts for October!
- Currently I’m…
- 5 Books to Get You Out of a Reading Slump!
- The Autumn Reading Book Tag!
- September Book Haul!
- The Birthday Book Tag!

The month began with my 24th birthday! I spent my birthday on holiday in Scotland with David. We spent a few days in Oban and spent my birthday on the Isle of Mull on the most incredible boat trip. I saw Minke whales and Common dolphins and it was an experience I’ll never forget. It was the best birthday possible.
I went to the theatre for the first time in a year this month too. I went to see Beauty and the Beast with my sister, Mum and Grandma. It was incredible and made me sob. I loved it.
I went to the cinema again this month to watch Venom: Let The Be Carnage with David. We both loved it and are huge fans of the Venom movies. So, I cannot wait to see what is next in the Venom universe.
The re-decorating of my house continued this month. Although not much was done this month we did get thinking about design ideas for the house and cannot wait to pick a final one.
Finally, I caught up with my best friends this month. We had a wonderful day out together. We went book shopping, played mini golf and ate some wonderful food. I love my friends a lot and it is always wonderful to see them!
I’m looking forward to seeing what November brings!

That is it, October is over. I cannot wait to see what November holds. What has October been like for you and what have you read? Let me know in the comments below!
